For those who prefer gluten-free meals, this no roux gumbo recipe is the answer! Get to enjoy one of your favorite Southern dishes that still adheres to your dietary requirements.
Air Fryer Hush Puppies
These Air Fryer Hush Puppies are another healthy version to a classic Southern side dish or appetizer! If you haven’t tried hush puppies before then you’re in for a treat- they are little balls of cornmeal batter, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside.
They are also gluten-free and vegan and can be made in just 10 minutes!
Southern Green Beans
Melt-in-your-mouth tender green beans simmered for hours and served drizzled in butter and topped with crispy crumbled bacon.
In Conclusion
These types of soul warming recipes are some of my favorites. The wonderful flavors and rich culture of the deep South makes me fall in love over and over again.
