Ingredients

ears corn
cut in 3-4" pieces

smoked sausage
sliced

lemons

red onion
halved

tablespoon

Cajun seasoning

seafood boil
2
bay leaves
1
head garlic
cut in half
1
beer
12
ounces
baby potatoes
halved

pound
head-on shrimp
1
pound
crab legs
1
pound
fresh mussels
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients except the potatoes and the seafood and cover with water.
Bring to a boil and add the potatoes.
Boil for 15 minutes
.
Add the seafood, turn off the heat and let sit,
covered for 15-20 minutes
.
Serve with
seafood butter sauce
.
Notes
Will need a very
large stock pot
so everything will fit (a Dutch oven will be too small).
You can use
whatever types of seafood
you like in place of what is called for in the recipe - as long as it is about 3-4 pounds. Fresh is best.
If you prefer not to cook with alcohol, you can
omit the beer
.
Any type of
smoked sausage
will work for this recipe. Add more or less as you prefer.
Fresh or frozen
corn on the cob
will work great.
